No thanks. You lie to your customers and tell them their pets have underlying conditions when really you aren't trained well enough to restrain and not paralyse them because you cant put a microchip in properly. Don't bring your pets here, unless you want them harmed and then lied to.

Since Monish has stepped down the practice has gone down hill fast. We take our three dogs in every six months.- once for vaccinations and once for a health check. We always pick up advocate treatment when needed without an issue and have done for years. For some reason we were asked to bring two of our dogs in for weight checks, despite them being seen recently. We were refused advocate until this had been done. We agreed and took Dobby and Zuko in. We were asked about Dobbys health, but he was never examined. Once there we requested, as usual six months worth for the dogs. This was denied and we were told our third dog hadn't been seen recently enough to have a six month prescription and they could only give her a one month one. I explained we always picked up six months and had done for years. I also explained she had been seen recently for vaccinations and is coming in next month for a health check. I said that I wasn't happy that what we had done for years had changed and asked if this was a recently legal change as the vet that the nurse brought into the room said she could loose her license for our request. The vet then started saying we were guilty tripping her and making her feel guilty. I told her we were allowed to say we are unhappy with the practice changing procedures and we are not responsible for her emotional regulation. The vet then said again it was illegal to prescribe and I said we had no choice but to get one month and go ahead with the treatment as I didn't want my dogs without. They then gave us the medication and ushered us to the door. I then asked so it's illegal to prescribe trixy her medication for more than one month, but it is not illegal to prescribe Zuko medication without evening asking about his health. The vet asked the nurse if they had health checked zuko, and they admitted they hadn't. The vet then took over and did a health check for Zuko. Dobby was never examined. This was a really shocking experience. Dobby was never examined or health checked, Zuko was only examined after I challenged them, and the vet did not let us express our concerns and ask questions about the new protocol without holding us accountable for their emotional regulation.

Service is generally ok and I can't complain about the staff and care they've given to my dog, but they're not the best when it comes to pricing for medication. They charge almost twice the price than other Vets for prescription medication and when you wish to have the prescription emailed to you so you can source elsewhere, they charge £25 to do so... Have just walked out feeling as though I've been fleeced. The sad fact is, that £25 has just cost them repeat business. Update to response: Notice what the owner completely ignored that their medication is marked up by almost 100%? The £25 'prescription fee' isn't an administrative cost; it's a penalty tax for daring to buy your pet's medication online for a fair price. The ultimate irony? By trying to squeeze a punitive £25 out of me to protect their inflated pharmacy margins, they’ve lost a long-term customer. Penny-wise, pound-foolish. Don't let the polite PR spin fool you.

I thought that I would try this way to getting a reply from yourselves seen as you ignore your emails.. Good morning , I have not long got back from the vets this morning after taking my dog for his usual annual check up and to be honest not at all happy 1st my dog was weighed and came in at 18.4kg I actually know my dog sits at between 11.5 and 12.5 so questioned this where the lady stated try again and reset something..my dog then came it at 13kg ..big difference when as a nurse I know medication is worked out on weight. 2nd The attitude of the veterinary nurse was to be quite honest boarding on intimidation and making me feel guilty...About my dogs general health..His nostrils ( he sneezed once ) and this was put down to his nostrils needing surgery and widening..I stated that this has never been brought up before and that when he was a puppy I actually asked at the West Bromwich branch what they thought and was told he was fine..She then basically argued this by saying she had worked at that branch for 7 years and wouldn't think I had been told this ..which I felt was calling me a liar. She then went on to examine my dogs anal glands without a glove while telling me my dog had a flabby belly and needed to loose weight ( granted he has put a couple of pounds on ) but as I explained in the hot weather we haven't managed to get him out walking as much as he normally does..again she went on about his nostrils and the sneeze I pointed out I sneeze would this mean automatically That I needed help ..My dog is 5 he is a french bulldog and I am more than aware of the problems Flat face dogs can have but In the 5 years we have had him he was walked the length of Wales..he has enjoyed many hill climbs in Durham and up clent and even in this hot weather not shown any distress and I can assure you we love our dog and would do anything for him ..I felt that the way she was taking to myself was as if we didn't care and that he was suffering ( which I can assure you very much not ) I am now looking for another Vets which is a shame because the Vet we normally see has always stated how lovely and fit out dog is

Lovely caring vets and staff, no practice could have looked after our dog any better.

My daughter took her 4 year old dog de bordeaux Bella cutting it short she had to be put to sleep through no fault of her own anyway got in touch with main head office they said they would do a full investigation and asked me not to post the complaint on social media they said they would reply within 21 days that time scale elasped 2 weeks ago after phoning several times nothing stay well clear my next step is to take it further

Took my hamster here as it had a growth which I knew it was a cancerous tumour and was hoping that the vet would put the hamster down as it was unfair for the suffering that was going to come. When I got a appointment with Monish one of the head vets he was quite rude even getting me to pick up the hamster for him and him not even getting close to the hamster nevermind touching it, I was then told that it was skin cancer and we asked the vet to put him to sleep he then said if it was a human would you which is anthropomorphism not even taking in to account of people's experiences with stuff like this such as cancer affecting loved ones. He then said if I was to put him down it would not be now and in the future. We ended up leaving the vets with oral cat medication to help shrink and prolong his life by a couple of months which cost 66 pounds. The hamster then lived for a couple of weeks and had to suffer. I wouldn't recommend Monish or his veterinary practice at all. After all vets have to listen to you and only advise as part of their profession.
